    Keep it tall man.

  5. John, you need to add another option - "Replace coupe body with killer, ex-drag glass roadster body" :D

Channel it frame height and 5-6 inch chop. That's my vote.

  8. CHOP & CHANNEL all the way! Henry Ford wouldn't mind

Before you chop it... finish it all - seats, steering column, pedals, shifter, etc. Drive it even if you can and using masking tape to "lower" the roof by blocking out the top of the glass. Then also make sure to give youself at least 3 inches above your head (or 4) while sitting up as straight as you can. Then chop the top as low as you desire BUT be sure the header above the window does not block your vision. Seeing out the front in a comfortable position and not hitting your head on a big bump (or being able to wear a hat while driving) is far more important than how it looks from the side. Gary

Also... what pisses me off about my truck is that while the roof is pretty low but ok, I can't wear a fucking helmet - so I probably won't ever get to drag race it. So modify the above by wearing a helmet, too! I may have to add a Gurney blister on the roof!

Do a raked chop. 1 1/2 in front nothing in

back. Gives a cool look, doesn't hurt head room and a sixties vibe.
    2 thumbs up!

No chop, then channel it. Unless you want it to look like a rat turd.

  20. Wow guys this thread is a year old. But I never did post the result.
I went with option 4. Ditch the Coupe body for a roadster body.

  21. I must say the results are interesting. Almost dead even between chop and no chop. I never would have guessed it.

First - "T" are ment to be tall.
Second - Im 6'-0" & I hunch over a little to drive & mine's stock, aside from lowered.
Third - Most new this hobby love chopped/channeled/. . . Most familiar to it dont.

No chop. Chopped = commonplace. No one sees the 'lines' of an unchopped T coupe anywhere anymore. Leave it tall. My .02.
