Flapper's 55 gasser

    The location of the Z bar was further back, and the headers were in the way at the top where the clutch rod comes down from the pedal, as usual nothing fits, so... you might as well start from scratch!! There are brass fittings going in the Z bar just to make it work better under severe shifting

    The beer was just a joke, we did that when we were straight, but we did have a few after!!

    Jerico is in, dash, gauges, steering column, mid plate, trunk latch, flip front end cables, getting ready to blow apart for some semi gloss black

    Hey Shakey, you were an inspiration when I first started the 55, I hope it comes out half as killer as yours!!

    Here it is at final assembly. It is all blown apart now

    I had a blast last year at Milan with the 57, I went home after Milan pulled the motor out of the 57 and started the 55 in November. Milan gave me the kick in the ass to get the 55 done. I will be there this year!!

    Killer car! I wouldn't have radiused the wheel wells thou. Just my 2 cents.

    Great to hear, your 57 was one of my favorites last year so the 55 should be great also. Look forward to seeing it in person.

    23 hours this weekend!! Coming along. Bryan Gault a member in our car club welded up my Jim Tinsmith front axle, amazing welds, Motor/tranny should be in this week, body work, paint... blah blah blah!!
