I was lucky enough to be invited to bring my car and do some pinstriping & lettering for the Austin Hatcher Foundation "Pistons & Fenders" benefit party tonight. You can't have a party at a better place than the Coker Tire museum. By far the coolest party I've ever been to. Corky Coker is quite the entertainer (dressed as Teddy Roosevelt) and his collection is second to none. Here's a few pics, hope you guys enjoy them.
I had no idea they had all those cars at Coker Tire. Can you tour the museum or is it private? Looks like a great time.
That looks like a KILLER time, i didnt know you could stripe and letter! awesome work, how ya keep paint off that white shirt?
Been lettering since the '80's but the striping is a late addition to the resume. You've been around me enough to know that it has to be a pretty special occasion to get me dressed up. Your welcome. Thanks bro.
Those two ford dealership signs come from Mike and Frankie.......was one of the episodes on American Pickers
Looks like an awesome collection of cars and bikes. Nice pinstriping, always amazed at the talent this takes and patience to produce some cool artwork.
there is a sayin that "he who dies with the most toys wins!" ol corky may be leading the pack now. man i love that place
He's got to be right up there. The stuff in the museum is only the nicest, he's got ALOT more stuff than that. Must be a terrible problem to have.
