    This is magic.
Do you achieve this by shrinking and stretching?

Yes ,spoon /various dollies/hand weights and the shrinking disc as well as moving the metal around with a planishing hammer whilst maintaining correct shape.

magic! sometimes i wish they would hurry up and fix my wand!

  18. Thanks for the updates! Beautiful metal work. I am definitley stealing some ideas for my '37 build although the execution wont be to nearly as high a standard.

    freaking cool man
can't wait to get back home and get started on my 38
its been waiting several years for me
i am looking to do close to the same thing with my hood that you are doing there no hinge flat top
but i am gonna make the hood sides removeable and probably have the hood hinged in the back or the side similar to what people do with fords

Spot welding inner hood structure.Note copper used on panel face to avoid crater. You have to do a couple of test pieces first with the copper backing set up to ensure the root of the weld is pulled out.Result ,damage limitation on show face.

  26. What is the bed going to look like? A regular PU bed, or like a true Pepsi delivery truck... The reason I ask is that my Grandfather used to build soda and beer truck delivery bodies in MI.
