Every forum, regardless of the subject matter, always is the same. You get a core number of members who post often, some who post at times, and some that never say a word. It doesn't mean they aren't interested or good members, some people are just more reserved or unwilling to jump in and post than others.

Everytime I am at a show or talking to a fellow car nut I always ask if they frequent this or any other forums. Most times they don't have a clue what I am talking about, but if they say yes lots of times they will say they lurk but really don't post much.

I'm # 24190. I joined Dec. 2006. Seems strange that that many people have joined since then.

i wanted to know so i paid the neighbors daughter 20 bucks to count the members. why, hell i dont know, i guess im nosey or some shit.

running a site is a headache, if my count is correct he is making some pretty damn good money but he deserves it. he made it happen, he is still making it happen.

I found the HAMB while at college in 2002 I tried to sign up but didn't have an email address.

Joined in 2006 and haven't passed a day without checking the HAMB a few hours... Guess I have a lot of time...I joined mainly because of my buddy's recommendation before we left for a Rt 66 trip, just to find some cool cats along the way, and to meet & greet fellow HAMBers.

    #6282 here.
I still cringe when I remember the flaming I got in pm's and on the board for wanting to put a Mustang II front end under a fenderless '36 Chevy PU.
You watched what you said in the old days. And you learned or you died...LOL.

  21. Hmmm! I'm #62484. I think Ryan should have cut it off at #62485:eek::D

    #11744 here

did a search awhile back for other HAMBers near me and most of them show no activity for months or even years. Plus I've heard a couple of guys who have forgot logins or passwords and just started new accounts. I wonder how many people are activly on here out of that 180,000.

Me personaly, I get the shakes if I go more than a couple of days without getting on the HAMB. haha
