Thanks everyone! it was a lot of work but worth every shitty sanding action, I will post some pics with the firewall showing...

 

They say everyone is six degrees from being related somehow to Kevin Bacon....

I like the color as well. So sick of rusty and/or primered cars considered "finished". Back in the day the ultimate goal was to have as nice a car as possible, if it was in primer it was only because you couldn't afford or didn't have the skills to apply paint(I have both problems).

 

SO SO true my boss has built hot rods and customs for ever(i think he watched the first model t roll of the assebly line), and he says the same thing!!..of course he had a 1932 sedan with a rochester fuel injection growing up

 

How much time do you guys have in the project up to this point?
