Thanks I really appreciate that. I've been working on it for about 8 years so that would be a pretty boring build thread

Slow but sure, paint and upholstery left on the punch list. I plan my to have 401 nailhead-powered hiboy on the road by June!

Theres a '54 Buick special nearby. Is it worth getting it for the 264ci engine, or is that just too small to be worth using in a rod? Also, someone mentioned this car having a torque tube. Is that true?

How'd I miss this thread? My favorite motor of all time. I had a 322 I let go. Looking for another here soon to put in some deuce rails with an A coupe on top.

So many awesome cars in this thread.

  23. Here are some shots of my old Riviera's engine. Painted orange to match the pinstriping and interior motif.

does anyone know if Russ from Centerville Auto Repair is a member here I purchased one of his bellhousing and flywheel set ups last summer and still don't have a flywheel cover everytime I talked to him he would say we should have them next week I even bought valve covers from him during one conversation about the cover he seems straight up but beginning to wonder about that cover

  26. I do not know Russ, but having owned Nailheads for years, I certainly know of him. The man is a walking authority on nailheads and I've never heard an unkind word. It's posts like this that always concern me b/c it undermines a person's credibility among those who don't know of him. Surely there's a more productive way of finding a resolution than "outing" him on the HAMB?
