somewhere in southern illinois, this thing is just sitting, it's 'owner' unaware of it's history...

 

TTT. Maybe tonight's the night sombody realizes we're talking about the 57 that's been sittin' in the guy down the streets garage all these years. Fingers crossed.

 

I browsed the thread solely based on "Yucaipa" since I was born and raised there.

My dad used to talk about a Danny Glover back in the Riverside days. One in the same? At the time he was driving a white/blue dragster. I was maybe 8-9 at the time, my dad was racing a white straight axle Nova called "Bad Boy".

i thought this might have been a lead, but it looks like the firewall is unmolested. (supposedly, it has been converted back to a stock firewall, dash, etc)

Licence plates and vin numbers are not tracked in California if the car is "smog" exempt. I wonder if any of the last owners at least have the plate number so it can be tracked from that state's DMV.
