That place has to have an aura you can just feel. Great post.

  6. great show...keep us posted!

  7. I still wonder what type of paint Bill Hines uses. I just can't imagine him suiting up to spray the new stuff. I bet acrylic lacquer, and I bet he still has the cigar in his mouth, while he is spraying.

  8. Both these guys inspire the hell out of me,hard at it always!
    Thanks for the updates Evel...

Ill call Kurt and see if he wants that flatty..:D

Thats Tranny John Lincoln that Dick Dean did the Spare tire in the back.. he's gonna fix some things and get into paint soon.. I'll see if I can find other shots..

Yes there was 4 sets of them.. I want to make Hot Rod head lights out of one..

It was crazy I found that Grille on a rafter under a bunch of parts.. that was fun!
He turns 90 in march ( ithink)

    Yes of course :D

I don't think he would let us.. he would know where anything is :D

the El Camino he is working is his next ride..

He has a room filled with lacquer.. I was in it :D

Brad will post some pix in the next few days.. his computer is getting fixed..

Man I hope I'm as sharp as he is, if and when I get that old. My hat's off to Bill. It's great that you're documenting this stuff.

    great photo's Evel, Fascinating stuff!

the Kopper Kart certainly had hubcaps like those on page 1 of this thread, dunno if they were specific to that car or a line of products that Barris sold?
    check out the photo below.....
looking forward to seeing more of Mr Hines workshop and parts piles!
    cheers....Jick

  30. I think Bill Hines keeps young by hanging with young car guys who are willing to listen.
