Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Binga, Jan 21, 2012.

  1. Yesterday 68 wagon (Scott ) myself and a couple of mates,Gerald and Paul, traveled the 1 1/2 hrs down to Melbourne to attend the 1st River City Reliability Run.

My car looking nice and shiny while waiting for the boys to turn up.
Didn't stay clean for long, it rained 20 mins later............

After a great drive through the country side we took the opportunity to stretch our legs at the 2nd check point.

  9. Thanks Binga, but an ever bigger thanks to the guys who stepped up and put on such a great event! To all the RCCRC boys thank you for taking the time to plan and put on the whole thing.

It was also good to meet Ryan and Blake, they sure looked like they were having fun. But then again it was hard not too, great rides, great scenery and a great bunch of people enjoying old tin the way it should be.... does it really get any better?

We also were allowed into the private museum.

This was the only good shot I got.

I would like to thank the River City Coupe and Roadster Club for putting on the run and can't wait for next year as it was an absolute blast.
It was also cool to meet Ryan and Blake and I hope their stay was all they hoped it would be.

  11. Thanks Mark we all had a blast

  12. Thanks Brett I couldn't have said it better myself

Stellar group of cars guys! Good stuff here. Very similar to Hop-Up Mark's and our own PRC runs. You guys should pat yourselves on the backs, cuz I know this is very hard work. More pix please!

Looks like a great day and from what I have heard it was a great day. I spent the day at the Hot Rod Show and I think this would have been more fun. Still for it to be a good event numbers must be something you can cater for. Glad it went off so well.
