Haha. Nice!. Ive done that before... I got busted by a state trooper... But he got a little over zealous and hit the brakes and slammed a light pole... So.. I left... He pulls me over every chance he gets...
Shoot.. we used to do this all the time, best done in a totally empty parking lot of course. It does teach you how to drive on snow, how to correct for a skid, etc. Bob
My favorite winter time activity. That reminded me of doing donunts in my O/T '79 Lincoln I had, it takes a few minutes for the ass end to come around on cars that long haha.
A few years back I witnessed a young teen doing that in a busy lot. He hit a parked car and realized I was watching. I watched him place a note on their windshield. After he left I checked it out and just as I expected the note was blank. I wrote his plate number on the note along with my phone number as a witness. Never heard anything of it but sure he probably did.
Yeah,but ever seen a sled in the snow? Thats my friends 49' baby-lincoln. <iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/21101493?title=0&byline=0&∓portrait=0" width="400" height="220" frameborder="0" webkitAllowFullScreen mozallowfullscreen allowFullScreen></iframe><p>49 linc from Riverside Hobos on Vimeo.</p>∓
where are the redlight cameras when ya need em...it could have been fun explaining tickets from 4 different cams at one intersection...
We used to do that on frozen lakes up in North Dakota....guys would also race roundy round. Run rims only on the left side - you could only do a few laps before the rims would do some serious ice-cutting....then you'd just move the oval somewhere else. Boat ramps were custom-made for roaring down, out onto the lake, and then slam on the brakes and turn the wheel hard over one way or the other....you'd do doughnuts for a quarter mile (usually less). dj
Jeez that sounds pretty sketchy compared to what I was doing lol. I'm just glad the snow is finally melting here lol.
If you do that a lot faster and hit curb.... You will fold your front suspension.... Don't do it if front of you high school like I did 15 years ago... Real embarassing
