Alright I've been threatening to start this for awhile. I'm starting a So.Alberta/Calgary area breakfast meet, I would like it to be a monthly or bi-weekly event. Looking for some opinions on time and place so we can get the best turnout possible. My initial thought is the last saturday of the month at 8am, putting the first meet Jan. 28 2012. Let me know what you think about date and time and give the name/location of your fave breakie spot.

    Thanks
    Paul

**for our out of town friends-when this gets off the ground I think we can take this on the road so you guys aren't the ones travelling all the time.**

Sounds cool, I work saturdays but could see about getting one off a month. I'm going to say the 28th.

Either option would work for me... I'd love to see a monthly or bi-weekly deal get off the ground! It'd be nice to see some of the local hamb'ers more than once a year haha.

How about the 264 legion? open to the public, big parking lot, cheap food, mite be a little busy, but the folks would love the cars.

  13. I'll check it out-also looking at the 99th Ave Diner. Thks

If I still lived in Calgary I'd join in the fun. I think the 1200 km one-way commute would be a bitch now. :D

  15. Location will be determined by the weekend. Stay tuned.

  16. So after worrying about finding the right location for a week or so I'm deciding to go with my first instinct - The Husky House - and if it sucks we'll find something better.

  21. Can I come? I haven't met any local HAMBsters yet. I'd bring a project with me, if it warms a little.

  22. Doug, see you there buddy. I'm expecting to have my '50 back in running order but with no heat i'll be a chilly ride if it's anything like today!

  23. Right on! Have a good time - next time fer sure.

  24. Who all is planning on bringing their on-topic cars?

  25. You guys should plan another one for the world of wheels weekend. There will be a bunch of hungry Clutch Poppers in town.

  26. Hell yeah, Alberta winter Hot Rod Summit.

  28. Shit news, I've been called out for work and won't be in town this weekend now. Looks like I'll have to wait until the world of wheels weekend if that goes. Have a good breakfast fellas.
