There was a car in that scene? As you can tell from my signature that movie is one of my favorites. I'll have to watch it one more time but I'm betting there is NO car in that scene. You are kidding ............right?:D

I'm pretty sure you're right Frank...I don't remember a car in that scene either, but I do recall seeing a hubcap and something about a safety pin......Oh Lucille!

This is the baddest in the truest sense, not the meanest as the title could read. Who could forget National Lampoons Vacation.

  22. The original request was for "Baddest Movie Car" That would have to be between "Christine" and "The Car". I mean, those cars were killin' people! BAD, BAD CARS!!!

Now for Bad Ass Movie Car.....I dunno, I'd have to say the real race cars in "Funny Car Summer". The rest of them seemed to merely portray a tough, bad ass image. Although that original Elenor was pretty tough, that freeway scene when he gets cut off by the Caddy and slams the light standard wasn't supposed to happen, but tape was rolling and time was money, so he fired it up and continued on with the scene!

I just watched that movie a couple days ago. It can be found on VHS tape and DVD. The quality of the DVDs isn't what you would expect because they are mediocre copies of a VHS tape.

The Willys Coupe's in Rebel Of The Road AKA Hot Rod If remember there were 3or4 Coupes to make that movie .. Side note, in "More American Graffiti" at the Drag Strip I see 2-3 grey primered Willys I wonder if they were used in both movies both were filmed in 1979
I also like the . The '58 Corvette in "Hot Rods To Hell"..

  26. or "Highwaymen" w/Jim Caveziel a '68 Hemi Barracuda in action...

  29. Just went through 7 years of posting and I was surprised to see that no one mentioned Golden Sahara from Cinderfella!
I am very happy to finally find out that the movie I saw in the 80's and couldn't remember is "Running on empty" known in the US as Fast lane fever.
As stated in post 313 & 314 on page 16 the '57 driven by the blind dude is bad ass. I vaguely remember a grand prix grey custom from that movie. Could be a 54 Chevrolet.
Anybody know if that movie is get able anywhere?
