  2. Ryan,

Sure looking forward to the stories and pictures of this trip and events.

Should be fine weather and Melbourne is a wonderful city. We enjoyed the 2+ years spent there leading Ford Design - '90-'92.

Hope you are taking the family and travel a bit, they will never forget all the unique aspects of the country.

On the "Bucket List." Pics are a must. Do toilets flush clockwise or counter-clockwise down under? Above the equator toilets flush counter-clockwise.

Toilets flush straight down in Oz.

If you find yourself in a roadster near the sea - watch out for Pelicans!

toddc, I ask because I worked for a plumbing company while in college. The plumbers told me how toilets flush above and below the equator. I should mention the plumbers did say, if you are located directly on the equator the toilet dumps straight down...no rotation.

  7. Ryan: Start getting in the habit of looking LEFT when you step off of a curb....Just sayin'.

HaHaHa! Are you trying to kill him.

Cars drive on the left side of the road, so they are approaching from your right when you step off the curb.

Vegemite works great for greasing up ya nipples (on ya car). Yeah that came across wrong.Keep it on ya toast. When you have built up a thirst...Just look for "Coopers SPARKLING-ALE" at the local bottle shop. Its nice and light and wont affect your judgment :) trust me.

Dr. Gonzo: Sounds like big trouble. You're going to need plenty of legal advice before this thing is over. As your attorney, I advise you to rent a very fast car with no top. And you'll need the cocaine. Tape recorder for special music. Acapulco shirts. Get the hell out of Texas for at least 48 hours. Blows my weekend.
    Raoul Duke: Why?
Dr. Gonzo: Because naturally I'm going to have to go with you. And we're going to have to arm ourselves... to the teeth!
Raoul Duke: Well why not? Shit if it's worth doing, it's worth doing right! This is the American Dream in action. We'd be fools not to ride this strange torpedo all the way to the end!

Hey Ryan, remember keep your arse out of the gutter (if driving)
Vegemite is actually recycled axle grease
Try a dim sim,no one knows what they are made of but they taste great
Fanny has a different meaning down here.
