I dont attend many events or mix in the main stream, so I wondered how you guys would know me or vise versa should I be attending a swapmeet or another event.

I'd sure be interested to know how other HAMB members go about identifying themselves for others to know who they are...

I decided to make myself a couple of T shirts with my HAMB icon sewn on the pocket.

So if any of you guys see me wearing this T shirt and I have not offended you with any of my posts please feel free to say hello and get in a hand shake.

Please feel free to post your version of an I.D. or badge of honour that would help me/us recognise you when you are out and about.

Sorry about the quality of my pic's.

I buy HAMB t-shirts and wear them when I go to events. Helps support the HAMB, and lets people know I'm a HAMBer.

the first hamb meet and greet i ever went to, i was a lil nervous as it was a lil intimidating expecting to meet guys who i expected to be like cole foster and the shifters and other type with slicked back hair and perfect cuffs and pendletons...however ,,it was quite a bit different as it was more like slick bald heads, velcro strap tennis shoes ,pot bellys and knee high white tube socks ....

Boy, I've lived a sheltered life then...
I am not too keen on the old skool ass grab, but who knows I might get over it.
Just please leave the sheep and goats out of it OK.

I guess I am referring to when you are wondering thru an event and you get to spot forum members, obviously the HAMB T shirts work but you still do not quite know this person is.
Could be one of those real bad ass HAMBers who always have their threads closed!!!

Haha, that was my first thought when I read the title.
Why go to all the work of sewing on a patch, just pony up and buy a couple t shirts.

  22. I went to the Rurkey Rod Run 2 days in a row wearing my red HAMB hat.I checked out every red hat that I saw, seems that mine was the only one there.
I finally drove(wheelchair) to the HAMB area and met a coupla members.

Don't get all paranoid now that people at shows are staring at your left nipple. We are not all that weird but multi focal length glasses make it hard to see something that small. It will just be HAMB members who read your thread (pun intended) and want to know if it is really you.

Make your logo a little bigger everyone will know then!!!

    Definitely a bigger logo...trifocals are for the.....BEEEEEP!!!!!!!

  26. Look for the congregation of hot chicks gathering around a cool car. If the car is 64 or older go up and make contact. He's either already a HAMBer, or probably a potential new member that just hasn't heard of this place yet.

Everyone I know, that likes older cars, said it only took a visit or two to get hooked on this place. I think that says a lot, both about the quality of the site and most of the membership too.

Doesn't I.D. stand for inside diameter? I don't want to know any Hamber's Inside Diameter.:(

  28. Can't tell you how many folks have walked up to me at an event/show and asked, "Hey what does HAMB stand for?" They see the HAMB logo on the front and a cool car on the back of the T-shirt, and have to ask.
I wonder how many of those folks end up members here?
