Event Coverage Aussie Kustom Nationals 2012

Today Scott (68 wagon) and myself took the 3 1/4 hr drive down to the world famous Phillip Island,home of the Australian Motorcycle Grand prix and the Australian Kustom Nationals.

Here are a few pics of some what we saw.



Some of the cars making there way through the tunnel that leads into the pits.

 

Every year a car is chopped and this years victim was a Lincoln Zephyr.

And one of the best things about this event is that you can cruise the track.

wow. i shoulda gone there today, instead i drove and 8 hour round trip to buy a car which i wote off an hour and a half later

Thanks for the pics Binga. You must have been there very early or it was a lot quieter than what I remember it from previous years. First year we've missed it for awhile. Great venue and great event.

Swifty it's the first time that I have been to the nats but all the people that I talked to said that it was a little bit quieter than previous years.

And yes Scott and I were so early the gates hadn't opened............

i had it on a trailer, the trailer got the sways up and landed on its lid
