  1. Ha! Nope, not even a Ford. Article says "...2 junkyard Hudsons..." - I have the mag & will scan & post pics of the donor car(s) later.

Who is she? No, I'm serious - the face is familiar (obviously a movie star of some sort)

"Dad's" first patrol car, think it was a "60" or "61" Plymouth 2-door!!

    Found another pic..

"Dad" handed out a "Colorado State Patrol Safe Driver's Award" to an (unknown) driver. I think this was around 1964-65.

The car in the pic looks to be a MOPAR of some kind.

Any idea on what track the Mustangs were competing on? Some European touring car series I surmise.

  14. I remember some going to Kew Gardens as well, and probably other destinations around the world. Here's the site in case you haven't checked it out. http://www.crmuseum.ca/ What an interesting history that area has, between the logging, fishing and of course the story of "Ripple Rock".;)

The event was the 64 Tour De France, that track may very well have been LeMans...

  16. Here's some pics from other areas of my home province, many from areas that I've lived, since we moved a lot when I was young.

I'm thinking Tipi Henden... went looking for other pix but didn't really turn up much from that time period. She was in Hitchocks' "The Birds".

Dad looks like he is getting what we called 'blood stripes' in the army. when you are promoted and get your first set of new rank the backings are intentionally left off and the person doing the pinning slams the rank hard into your flesh to make sure it 'sticks'.
