    This is the model of Tom Daniel's Vette. TD was the designer of countless cool Revell models. Revell made a model of his real car. As a kid, I built this model and then later in the year went to L.A. to go to Disneyland. One day, in the family wagon, we saw TD driving this Vette! So rad. Last year, I happened on Tom Daniel's website. I sent him and email, telling this story. He said he loved the car and those were great times. Seems like a nice guy. What a fun career.

    Damn skippy!

    When ever I am buying anything stainless I bring a magnet with me, I always laugh at idiots buying stainless fridges that you pay extra for to be able to have your magnets stick to it...:rolleyes:

    Fellas ,just to clarify about stainless steel;

    as a rule 300 series (Austenitic) stainless steel is non magnetic,though some alloys within the series can become magnetised when cold worked.

    Ferritic and Martensitic grades of stainless steel are magnetic.

    Stainless steel can seem to be rusting if there are iron particles embbeded or lying on the surface ,these particles rust making the stainless appear to have the familiar iron oxide look of regular steel/iron. A good example would be leaving steel wool in a stainess steel sink,or what happened when I absent mindedly wire wheeled a stainless artwork one day with a regular wire wheel ,the client wasnt too happy when rust appeared 1 week after install :rolleyes:
    Cheers RM
