Thank you sir! She got dropped off today. Was fun driving that car up there. Drives real nice. Gets pretty damn hot after getting off of the highway however. Got to look into that. I will post pix after the show!
Cant let the cat out of the bag just yet... but chopping a 56 ford 2 door hard top is hard work! I have sunk the windshield on this one.
I cant wait to see some of this chop!![/QUOTE] as soon as all the metal work is done. But I might hold off till tech week. I have actually made this one look easier than the 47 I chopped earlier this year.
thnaks guys. I have been running my ass off as of late. I will post some more soon as I get a chance. Thanks for watching!
here are a few more to tide those that are interested over for a bit. another update on the 56 2 door hardtop... and a few on the 58 chevy that I showed pix of before with the lego holding the filler. Needed floors. Here they are welded, seam sealed and then coated for durability. done top AND bottom
The 54 hits it right on the mark! It just fits.. You Have the skills and Eye. Oh Yea the 36 sweet.. Fantistic builds the shot on the 36 door well I might need to get off the wine that blows my mind. All from a FNG Great Job!!!
Looks like your eye and work is as sharp as those edges! Whatever your pay scale is ,it appears its worth its wait in gold! Definately enjoyed and appreciated viewing your worx!
I actually pick up some stuff from autozone. But make sure it is full bodied seam sealer. Use a glove to smooth it out and it ends up lookin factory!
the '56 is like a conspiracy theory. looks legit on the surface, but is a total cluster of ugliness underneath. wow. as the owner i would not have been happy to find that. good thing it's in the hands of someone who can save it. i would have driven it off a cliff.
makes me real happy and swells my ego a bit to hear all of this. I can assure you, this is not falling on deaf ears. I actually have some real cool stuff in the works for this next year, but I just cant let the cat out ofthe bag quite yet. You'll have to wait and see....
some more on the 58 chebby found some cancer and some more the panels to replace the old holy stuff the new rocker getting fitted new quarter panel to
and getting to the cowl for the sunken windshield chop on the 56 hard top. I really need to start a thread on this one. I have 100's of photos so far!
I will have some more pix up later actually. Pretty boring stuff right now though. Just building the small parts and making sure everything lines up and functions along the way. That's the hard part when you have a car this far apart.
