wild dealer promo or monster model kit ??

    just picked up this model at a swap meet a few weeks ago , and have been trying to ID the thing and can't find anything about it ??? it is molded in red plastic , is marked Linberg on the bottom , has a slant 6 motor . a Cuda maybe ? Dodge-Chry-Ply promo ??? maybe just a monster kit? have it next to a 1/25 model for sizing

    Lindberg is still making model kits... Last Lindberg kit I bought was the 1/8 scale 1924 er 25 "Tall T"

    Lindberg used to make all the "Weird Ohs". I built them all as a kid in the 60's

    Lindberg made "Lindy Loonies" and "Big Wheeler" kits that were similar to what you have there. You might try a google search using those terms. Way cool piece you have there!

    looks like a slant six powered Barracuda to me. what's so unusual about that?

    I doubt its a factory issue as the slant 6 isn't laid out correctly (Distributor location) so I'd guess its most likely a weirdo kit or a toy.
    Very cool though!
    Bet a 'Cuda owner would love to have that on the shelf!!!

    checked out the loonie lindys and big wheelers on the new and didn't come up with much ???? anyone else???
