Great day at Mooneyes Christmas Party! My dad got two runs in.

We talked back and forth about putting the wheelie bars on the car. With our older wider slicks we needed them, but we thought with these new skinnier Hurst tires we wouldn't have a problem. Plus when we ran at Eagle Field we did not need them.

So what the heck lets not use them...

Well here is a video of what happen!

Little squirely but he got it down the track.

Here are second run. WITH WHEELIE BARS!

MUCH MUCH BETTER. There was a little hesitation on the on the launch. I guess the trans brake got knocked and it held for a second. But good strong run! Excited to see what she will do in the 1/4!!!!

Turn your volume up! It sounds goooood! :D:D:D:D

..there is just something about our dragster in the weight distribution that just makes it want to go up...

It wouldn't be a bad idea to have a set just in case though. Thinking about your car, I don't think you will have a problem though... famous last words!!!!

My dad had Jerry Darian tune the injectors back in 1978 or 79. And we've had it set up like that ever since.

Well its a Clay Smith 283-2 cam, I don't know the specs of it off hand. I'll need to do some research on it.

We are showing the "Doll" at the Goodguys Del Mar show in the Olympic Coatings booth, right outside of the main hall and next to speedways booth.

Well we officially weighed the doll.

My guess was 1,320, my girlfriend was optimistic with 1,400...

But sure enough it was 1,225!!
