Well, mine fits perfect in here. From this ugly pos (not mine but looked just like this) to this. Still needs paint and some stuff, but its pretty cool already from my point of view.
I wondered how your car was coming along Bonez. Looks really good - that´s a great idea for a headlight treatment!
Actually thats how i found it, butr thanx James. It used to have only black mesh for a grille, so i temporarley put a stock one on, after cuttin the headlight "trim", meanwhile im workin on this vvv. Square tubing and 70s GM rectangular headlights, 2 per side. Pure 70s...im happy and proud.
My '62 Chrysler might fit the bill before and currently Further customization is in the works for this one though, will be changing out the quarter panels and side trim for something much more custom.
It still makes me want to throw up a little. There is one close to my dads farm, this http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii312/Graham_A_M/CarsandTrucks/P8030027.jpg Every time I see it, I think, wow is that thing ever ugly. Proportionally its way off in every way. wow! Good job, looks awesome!
This is a fun game I have played before. I found this Lincoln for $500 next to the boat dock at Lake Eufaula. I had a set of Roadster wheels and white walls back home that came off of a "Excacliber". It seemed fitting at the time . My other ugly car was a 1971 Pontiac Grandville that I picked up for $800. Craigslist and $250 wire wheels later Both of those ugly suckers were a blast. I am always on the look out for something ugly and cheap.
Sadly, this project is currently on ICE. VR&C.[/QUOTE] Well that sucks when do you think you will be able to get back on it?
Yes..... but those headlight buckets are Amazing and have TONS of potential on other customs.... The one above does look as nice as any I've seen though.
This here is the winner so far imho.......cranbrook? What a cool transformation! to make a cool sled out of such a ho hum car takes a lot of vision...well done. I like a lot of the other rides in this thread too, but this takes it for me.
