  4. Now that's the way a Auto Parts store SHOULD look, not a bunch of toys and mini-bikes as soon as you walk in the door. Then you have the Boom Box section... You listening Manny, Moe and Jack?

    Love all the different handles on the socket wrenches.

    What's with all the phaetons, maybe it's a parade?? Are they all Packards??

    Yeah, they all look like Packards to me, and judging by the other cars on the street, they seen to be new. You might have hit the nail on the head, staging for a parade.

  17. first a trip to the Western Store, buy a can of top dressing, apply with a brush. I remember my dad doing this.

  21. I love showing pics like these to the "trailer queen owner's". Our cars started out on roads like this, and survived 70-80 years! Imagine today's cars doilng that!:rolleyes:

    Those are amazing old photos. My MIL was 11 yr old back in the day when most roads were still dirt roads, never mind gravel...her parents went all the wayy to Mexico then went to BC back in the early 1920's...she lost her photos in a house fire back in the 1950's...all we have are her stories that she written about those journeys ....:(
