Heres my 32' The car was in the first annual roadster show, page three in the program. Owned by Gendale Stoker member Malcomb (Mac) Schutt, then in HotRod Magazine Oct 1950 feature car. The car was then sold to Bert Mouron restyled and appeared in the first car craft Dec 1953 feature car (the magazine with Harvey Bott's 33 coupe on the cover). The car was entered in the fourth LA armory show of 1953 and appears in Hotrod January 1954 (1 photo at that show) The car was then owned by Dave Bennett who worked in the Long Beach ship yards as a welder. He added the f-100 steering and fabricated the box to the frame "thats nickel welded" he told me, Its a thing of beauty and i hope you can see it in the photo. The car has had three owners after Dave including myself and has had several engines as well. Ray Brown full race 47 Merc, Bill Stropp 440 lincoln it was drag raced with a 327 chevy and now has a 47 merc EN.PA.CO. (Engine parts Company) Flathead I installed (see photo). Don Montgomary talked me into leaving the car the way I got it (not restored) so here you have it. I've probably owned the car the longest at 24 years, have taken it to the Hotrod reunion in Bakersfield once, and drive it on sundays, in the hills where I live. Rich. I think my 35 would be considered a "survivor" ...since some of the past history was that it almost became a roundie , round car in Wyoming back in 1963...Thanks again to Bruce for the history lesson on her.
I guess you'd call this a survivor. PO bought it in '56, put it away on the second floor of an old factory in '64, where it stayed till recently. I bought it this spring. It was slightly rodded in the late 50's with a '49 Merc flattie and a shaved trunk lid. Plans are to make it safe, and drive it. Can't wait till spring...
Heres one for y'all..., These pics were taken in the late 50's of my dad.., Car looks the same now as it did then! Except for the old motor is out and a flatty is back in.. Still has original paint and 50's hotrod interior.. It is sweet to say the least. Car still sits in moms garage.. One day next year I'll get it out and post pics... IT IS NOT FOR SALE!
I think I might have a candidate for this thread. I'm the second owner in 40 years. Previous owner picked up parts to restore it but, its turn never came. Til now, but just preserved and improved. What is left of the original Washington blue paint is under the old primer. The hood and grill are the only non original body parts.
The Ed Ward 32 roadster ill be starting a mechanical restoration on very soon, Ed bought the car in 1958, started a nailhead swap in 59, never finished it, going back to a flathead.

I missed this thread somehow. My '36 Plymouth spent 50 years locked in a garage - talk about benign neglect. Front end was repaired and painted during WWII, about 30% original paint remains. My plan was an all MOPAR period hot rod, but other than a rebuilt '58 230 six, I just don't have the heart to change it now. Even the cobra grain top insert is original.
les's 33, originally built around 62 my ex 35 truck, last built in mid/late 60's (i ditched the slot mags for some 40 wheels) les's vette tony's roadster joe paneks old bonneville v12 cad powered lakes coupe doug eyres roadster that pete aardema was running up to a couple of years ago, been a bonneville/lakes car for over 60 years
This was taken in the UK in the '70's. Brian Webster's 5w and George Foulger's Cabriolet. Both sadly (for us) live-on in the 'States. Both still RHD I think.
Dad's '34 sedan, with Mom and my little sister. Memphis, 1971 Dad's '34 sedan, New Melle, MO 2011 The car was buried in his garage for 25 years. My brother-in-law and I put a new set of springs and an axle under the front, a set of wheels and caps and radials. Paint, upholstery and everything else are as he bought the car from Randy Meierhoffer back in the 60's.
I know of a stash spot where theres a steel t bucket on a tube chassis with 40 ford front an rear suspension an old mill with tripower and offy valve covers!it was built in 1962... also a 60 and 61 ford starliners the 61 is a dirt track car and the 60 is the guys first car! been trying to get them from the guy for a year now but same thing everytime i dont know if i wanna sell i wanna fix them up fuckers have been in stickerbusshes longer then ive been alive one day ill get them!
