    I like the "Tender Fender".

The car my dad has had fiberglass fenders and the owner painted "Hands Off Cast Iron" in sarcasm.

The bow tie emblem is just wrong. I also have to wonder why? Brian

Somewhere in this thread, there is an explanation. It had something to do with classification, and cubic inches??? Personally- I think its alright. But then again, I had a target on my back for over a year when I put a Bowtie into a Mopar. I'll have to post up some of the death threats I received someday!!;)

A couple of nice 64s from the East Coast Indoor Car Show in Baltimore MD this weekend. The wagon is a "work in progress" displayed by Piranha Fabrications to showcase their work. The red car has the B/FX 4x2 Weber set up.

The '64 Comet Cyclones are not hard to like! They were the first year of the Cyclones, they had those little baby fins, and I believe they were the only
Cyclones that had Horizontal headlights. After this the headlights were stacked. These cars looked as if they were hauling even when standing still. I have an album showing my '64 Cyclone, "Cycho", back in the day.

I looked at this truck in person about a month ago, thought it would be cool with my 60 Falcon on the back of a 60 Ford cabover, looked better in the pictures type of thing, just a little to much of a project but still cool.

Its a funny thing, haulers! I've dreamed of having a period correct ramp truck or hauler, and hitting the road with it, living out of it. It would certainly have the look and the feel, but would be quite an undertaking, huh? I have an old Chevy flatbed here locally that would make an incredible old hauler for my Comet, its cheap, the price is right, and it'd look retro- bitchin. But reality? Take it on a 500 mile trip, pray no one steals the car off the back, as opposed to the car locked up inside an enclosed trailer? Its a tough call to make. Spend alot of money to make it dirt-dawg dependable.

Its ready for the match-up! I'll be the underdog, but at least I'm running era-correct tires!! Gutted the interior (What interior, Dale, you don't even have one!!). You know- I just realized. I'm in contention to win the A/FX series! I've won one event, and I don't think anyone else has won two?? Damn- that would be funny. The slowest car in the pack-----:D. But, it is a Comet after all, and a Comet is the closet thing in the sky to a shooting star!!!!:)
