I know nothing about it. i would put the stock lights back in, lower it, maybe mess with the grille and paint it. Then drive the hell out of it!

But enough for my imaginary plans, what are your plans?

invest a minimum amount of $$$$$$ and drive it... or sell it...not attatched to it. Price was right so I bought it.. Its a daily driver at best, needs too much to make her a show queen...

Taillights look like the upper half of '70 Cadillac Deville turned sideways, but I 'm not 100% on that.

Bit of research done and Nova is the answer on the taillights!! Better 66 Nova than 99 Civic?!?! Right?? Lol I personally like the stock taillight configuration, However this is just gonna be a daily ride so unless you got a fist full of cash and a trailer, they are staying.....

not gonna lie, them taillights are real bad. why would you need a fist full of cash and a trailer to lose them ugly things...get some stock shoebox lenses(CHEAP), and french em the good way with some roundrod and the car will already be 10x better.

edit: you can get some stock shoebox headlight rings cheap and lose whatever those are...french the stock ones, and change the grill....all without a fist full of cash and a trailer. ;)

Well, guess nobody has any history on this car or they just don't want to admit that they put those taillights on it after the HAMB has spoken....Anyway, I'm just gonna get her running and stopping good and drive it!

  20. well considering the stabilo lines are still on the trunk I'd say thats fresh !! Lower it, maybe get some stainless and bend up a new grill. Should be a cool car to run around in

    Hey,

This sounds like the best plan that's been pitched;) You could do all of the other mods that have been tossed up, but at the end of the day you'd have a schewbaux that looks jus like ever other one that's been ''kustomed'':D

Why toss time/money @ a project you're only luke warm over- life is short!

You beat me to it but I was going to say WRONG. Just because you have something in the junk box under the bench isn't good enough reason to use it.

I'd have to agree with the get it running and driving and have fun with it driving it to work. The tail lights might not look great but I'll bet the guy behind you will be able to see them when you hit the brakes or flip on the turn signals.

Im changing the name of this thread to, "What do you think of the tail lights?" WOW, didnt think they were such a big deal...anyway, they work! and the car needs other shit done first like a full exhaust, and safe brakes!! Well, the question still stands if anybody has history info, please let me know. thanks!!

Man I have a set of originals that I would donate to the cause if it helps.... I am not using them. The rings need to be rechromed but the lense and buckets are good
