snapped some pics of my f1, what do you guys think

  1. so i was finally able to get everything primed a few weeks ago. Bodywork/paint left it out of commission from about mid September to right around a week ago. Got my wing windows and door glass put in, still have some work to do to the hood and prime it but for now i'll just leave it. For the record, i do intend on painting it, however our house is going on the market soon and we'll be moving so i thought the truck would be much more useful in one operational piece.

i do have some small plans for it this winter, a cam and intake change, 54-55 ford passenger car caps, and some smaller exhaust/header change are all on the list to get done far before April, since i'm really wanting to take this to LSRU 2011 with the Deluxe speed shop guys. Anyway, enjoy

by the way, no it's not bagged, theres just a few pics where ground was a little uneven.

Oh man, look at that truck! the paint has no shine, the springs must be broke cuz it sits on the the ground!!! I'll give yeah 500 bucks and take it off your hands!!!!

Just kiddin'......It's cool, sits right and looks good just the way it is. Pictures are good to! Maybe you should have that one silver gill tooth gold leafed for that, in da hood urban look!!!!

  10. i was actually going for more of the "white trash bitch who couldn't afford a gold tooth" look lol thanks though

    looks like it is undrivable

  22. I love it.
I loved more when you had it in bare metal too.
    Makes me miss my f1

  23. Yo homie dat grille is gangsta, bro!!!

Seriously, it looks great. The cop wheels are an interesting touch too.

There's was a nice 51 for sale here over the summer, It looked good
but needed some work. $11,000 with it's stock flattie, stock front axle, a fully
welded steel bed floor (Farm truck style) a rough (orange peel) surface, sunlight
through the door gaps where rubber seals should be, fender seems filled and a
rolled rear pan. A pretty solid truck, I still wonder if the price is right or if the
guy should come down a little.

Hope mine ends up that low.. I want people to here me pull in there drive way too lol. ..... NOW THAT'S FORD TOUGH......

  29. Wow! Thanks for all the comments guys. To answer a few questions, the truck has a 71 Malibu clip, which was how the truck came (pretty much the only thing I didn't do on it). It has an ECI "narrowtrack" kit which puts the track width back to stock. great kit btw!

As for drivability, it's pretty damn good! Only bottoming out on really nasty dips and takes speed bumps surprisingly well! Usually when it scrapes, it only scrapes the little storage area I made under the rear part of the bed
