i visited my uncle last week and got this photo from him, i just thought it was too cool not to share http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/picture.php?albumid=27263&pictureid=342833
Whats your plans now? He really had to cut a bunch out of the firewall to stuff that Hemi in there!! Good luck on your good fortune!
IMO it looked better with the steelies on it, but it's still a bad ass car, and a cool piece of family history. Hopefully you're not the only one in the family that appreciates, and can enjoy, such a cool piece of family history.
it got the chrysler wire wheels in the late 1950s, and they were still on it when i got it from my uncle, so i just kept them on
Tony what a rush it is to see this Deuce Roadster basically stay the same; and for someone in the family to own & to appreciate those that have; so to speak paved the way in the hobby, plus the chain of ownership, history, photos, programs, trophies; I dont see how it could get any better. I have to ask; in that one photo with your uncle to the left & your dad on the right is the older couple between them their parents? Congrats, Ric
