From the south,

take the 5 north
to the PCH exit,
all the way up to the rosecrans/taylor st intersection
(right by the old town trolley station).

Pictures will be taken for those that couldn't attend. We hope this will become a regular thing in the future. San Diego needs a shot of car culture.we all meet at 8 and hang out , then invade the breakfast place, there is no formality to it just meet people we converse with on the computer and make contact with fellow hambers in SD. Hope there is a good turn out.

 

I am visiting my daughter in Escondido. Thought about stopping at the breakfast in San Diego. Looking forward to seeing pictures.

Good time fella's it was good hanging out with some old friends and making some new ones along the way... All in all there were about ten cars or so, not bad for the first time up. Special thanks to Paul (Hombres Ruin) for putting this together.

Thanks Geemann,had a blast today. I thought it was a good turn out for starters and once we get this going on a regular basis it will be bigger. I will post my pics tomorrow. Cruzr,I think that's a great idea and would like to get that going down the track. Thanks for the offer

most of us went to my shop which was around the corner.



You may have read there was a shop tour,
but just imagine a bunch of car guys standing in a garage.
It helped to know that i'm not the only one that likes this old junk!

but when I found out there's a flathead with an inline tork-tube overdrive it got even better.

Travis - Thank you so much for the tour, your shop just oozes organic coolness and your fab work is the definition of form meets function. Here's the "just like the 50's version" of out in front of the shop plus your hot rod canoe that I have been drooling over all day.. That canoe is mother humpin' bitchin'...

 

Zibo great pics . We are looking at where to have it next month. Your garage is pretty killer that's for sure.
