    Great thread, very inspiring. I think the 54 Mercurys would look good on my 53 Desoto.

    Pro Stock John, that's classy, almost European in flavor.

    And, Sylvian, you luck so and so, what a car!!!!

    BTTT, noticed several 'tail light idea' threads lately. I'm going to change out the tail lights on my Plymouth this winter. Still has the stock units on 'stalks, stick out way too far for my taste.

    [IMG]

    My problem is I still can't decide which way to go. I scored a nice set of Hudsons, cool thing is they take TWO bulbs each so they should be nice and bright;

    [IMG]

    Really dig the '41 Studie's although they're pricey;

    [IMG]

    And although I REALLY like these new 'Zephyr' units, they're larger than the 38-39 Ford, but I don't really want LEDs.

    [IMG]

    I've also considered the tried and true '39 Fords, but I'd really like something a bit larger for visibility.

    Any more ideas?

    OEM tail lamps and stalks on my '35 Chev - 1/2 amber; and '46 Olds. I've since modified the over riders on the Olds rear bar to accept modified OEM front park lamps to use as traffic indicators. Need them down under.

    John51mer, Wow!! Those are a seriously beautiful bit of work! Slammatt definitely knows what he's up to!

  10. Yea there is some serious work and detail in those lights. Never got to worry about seeing them on another car. lol

    The bumper they are going is another work of art from him too.

    Here is a set that I came up with and cast for a friend a couple years ago. Sorry that the cell phone pic is kind of shitty.

    I cant believe I am about to say this, but what is that car?

    almost looks like a mildly sectioned early 50's packard with 51 merc skirts?

    it has been years since a car has stumped me this hard!!!
