It is time to finish this car so I can drive it.
Finally out of storage after eight+ years.
Wide White tires on steelies next, then wire the zero mile,
radical built 302 Ford engine to run.
Then install chopped windshield and get upholstery completed.

Nice of you to notice. It has been on several cars in past years.

The tail lights and chop were done about 15 years ago
when quarters were extended, 5 gallons of bondo later.
Glad you like the nose mods. it was complicated, still needs help.
Don't care about so called traditional. Just wanted to be different.

  6. I need to know more about the chop. I am getting ready to help chop a 52 Merc. Tried to talk the guy out of it. I haven't seen to many that I like , but we will see what we get when the roof comes off.

I think the main thing i dont like about the tailights is how the edges around them are so sharp on a car that elsewhere has generally smooth rounded corners. But thats just my opinion, not trying to insult your car!!

Git 'er on the road!! Im sure once its all together it will look great :)

HEY NO problema. The original cad chrome bezels aren't in yet.
I got the idea from Billy Gibbons' CADZILLA custom.

I AGREE but is was easier to weld flat sheet metal
to the formed 3/8 rod to get the shape to extend quarters.

It is only chopped 4". The stock rear window was an issue for me
so I substituted a rear window and metal from an F-1 pickup cab since I already had it. If I had it to do over I would chop it 5".
