I have not have time to work on my ford for a wile But sone as i begin there will be new pics of the build. I think to begin to put togher the blown flathead when i get the block from borring. And i have fixed pipes to stainless steel headers. /Stefan
I have a little update I have been bad to work on my ford I have take a look how the oil pan fit in the frame togther with r/p steering gear my oil pan is to a truck not a shoebox so is inposeble to fit with out modification even with original steering gear I must do some cuting in the pan I have some more space in the front /Stefan
Thanks for liking my build I have cut little in the pan I cut the rear end of the oil pan Then tested i the cut pan in the car for see if have cut enough the pan will not be very big but the oil now is better in to not be slugde in. ome ide is to use a honda civic oil filter under the oil pump so the oil will completly filtrade and it will give easy piping. Only a pipe up to the top of the block /Stefan
I have think to do like this with oil filter adpter Hole in the bottom of pump and throu the pan and plug up in the top of the pump /Stefan
Stephan, you come up with some great ideals. Will the oil pickup still be in the stock location, or is this also being changed?...Jim
Thanks for liking my shoebox build I have made som parts to the oil filter system to the flathead The filter holder for the Honda Civic oilfilter The tread for the filter is M20x1.5. The filter is have a size of diameter 68mm and a legth of 85mm so it is easy to fit /Stefan
