    Hello everyone,

I've read around on this forum for years, just never registered. I am finishing up my '70 'Cuda project (have pictures in my album) and just acquired a 1937 Plymouth PT50. That one is why I registered. You guys are a wealth of knowledge.

I live in Jacksonville, Florida and run a shop that specializes in the repair of Chrysler, Jeep, and Dodge cars and trucks. I spent 21 years at the dealer as a technician and finally decided to do it on my own. If you guys need help with your late model Mopar's, feel free to call or email.

Look forward to meeting some of you and sharing some thoughts on my PT50.

    Thanks,
    Craig Scholl

    Welcome!

That's a good looking truck in your avatar! I've got a '37 Dodge MC and a '72 Challenger myself (plus a few others). But I wish my '37 was that clean! There are actually a pretty decent number of '36-'38 Dodge/Plymouth truck owners on here, and a bunch of threads if you do a search.

Appreciate the warm welcome. I wish my truck looked as good in person as the pictures too! It is pretty rough up close. It is mostly original paint that is very crazed, cracked, and blistered. It will shine decent for 30 feet or a low res avatar.

A few pics of my truck. Really want to tear it down and paint it, but don't want it to turn into a major project that's down for a year.

It needs paint? Could have fooled me! I'd drive the crap out of it just the way it is! :D

Thanks everyone, I agree, this couldn't be a better site...

I just don't get the whole picture thing. My truck's paint and body is HORRIBLE, but it always shines and looks good in pictures. I promise you if you stand next to it with a picture, you'd swear it was two different trucks.

Haha. I agree, Craig. It looks very nice in pics, but even in person is not bad at all for 74+ years old.You have one solid truck and from crawling under it for an hour it's in amazing shape.I didn't see any rot at all.

I need to stop by and maybe give you a hand next week. I'll send email
