Happy birthday Chevy. Get some more rear wheel drives on the road, bring back some old models, and make the Volt as fast as a Tesla and they'll be alright.

The chevy trucks have been around since 1918. I have had this 1982 add for chevrolet trucks for awhile.

    Have a look.

Yep Chevy and Chrysler both should have went the way of all the other failed brands.

I guess you forgot that Ford was going broke so far ahead of the others, that they had already sold of a lot of their holdings to avoid going under. So when the time came, they didnt need the bail-out money. Gotta give'em credit for having the forsight for that I guess!

After we count those , let's count all the '32 Fords runnin' around with SBC in them , or for that matter , lets go and count all the non-bowties runnin' around with SBC in them , that is a comment you shoulda just sucked back in the ol' lungs....

We have a nice selection of Chevys at the America On Wheels Museum in Allentown Pa. Starting with a 1911 Little, the begining of Chevrolet also a 1918 over head valve V8 Touring and alot more.

  25. Talk about mixed emotions. I love my Chevies I have/had, but the US government s/n have bailed out GM. Why did only Ford seethis coming, BS. My 02: it was one of the 7 deadly sins that upper GM management drove the company into the ground.
Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

  26. Ford vs Chevy now.
    Who really gives a shit.
    This thread is doomed.

Nah, it's not doomed. I'm looking forward to seeing who can piss the farthest up the wall.

Psst- while you guys are debating this shit- don't forget to mention all of the Chevys running around with Ford 9 inch rearends, including all of the ones in NA$CAR.

As for me- Tomorrow, I'm going to fire up my daily driver Ford truck (best serving vehicle I've ever owned) and go visit the graves of the Chevrolet brothers. Then I'll come home and work on my Chevy.

And we can try to count the number of Fords with Chevy power... Or Chevy's with 9" Ford rears. :D Is it true that most Fords are built "Ford Tough", with Chevrolet stuff?
