Looks like you are traveling in style Nick. Do tell how you managed to get a ride on a private jet.

  5. Thanks for sharing some great pictures, the PJ to Vegas is a nice touch also.

  6. Nick - Thanks for posting these pics ... much appreciated!

The mustard/orange '32 3-window was built by Dave Lane at Fastlane. Not sure who the owner is.

The patina'd '52 Chevy Coupe was built by the same 4X4 shop that did the Chrysler wagon with a new Hemi and Art Morrison chassis, that was featured in Hot Rod Magazine. I think it might be Icon something-or-other.

The private jet is owned by my buddy's boss/business partner. They've recently started a shop in the Omaha area he is a successful business-man. Really a cool, good dude and I am very lucky to have been able to go on this trip with them.

Blue Collar Customs in Sacramento built this 36. That's not grey paint but clear coated steel.
Thanks for the posting the pics look great.

very cool -Thanks. went last year and tried to see it all in one day-no way!! if you are there on the last day when closing down be sure to go out front and watch many of the display cars do burn outs across intersection. how much ya lose at the casinos?

  15. Typical of Dave's work..................there are more fine details per square foot than the law allows........anybody who gets a chance to see it in person and appreciates exceptional craftsmanship, plan on spending a long time with this car. And Phil is 10 of the nicest people you'll ever meet (as is Dave).

The only problem with SEMA is every year, Most of the factory concept cars are down there, while the Seattle International Auto Show is going on. We always get some left over concept cars from last year.
Just going to have to make it down there some day.

Even more impressive when you consider how many hand-formed panels (most of the roof from the beltline up!) and how many body modifications there are and it is all metal finished to perfection with nothing to hide anything...just clear.

It's an early Comet, isn't it? Lots of cool machinery!

I wish I could wrangle a way to SEMA sometime.
