Thought I just might say congratulations: today November 3rd marks the 100th anniversary of Chevrolet.
Happy Birthday to the most dependable , most desirable , and fastest car -per - dollar ever made , I'm sure you guys all heard the old saying , "Dollar-For-Dollar , You can't outrun a SBC"...
Found a cool link with a time slideshow... http://images.businessweek.com/slideshows/20111020/happy-100th-birthday-chevrolet
Here are some of the older beauties they produced. The fire engine has a Buick Nail Head 322 in it from the factory. Normbc9
While I have not been a "Chevy Guy" for more than four decades I say Happy Birthday to the Bowtie brand... I may attend a B-Day celebration at the local Chevy garage tonite... maybe they will have some 100 year old donuts...
They barely made it. Let's hope they can keep their shit together and stick around for a while longer. Studebaker hung around for 112 years for start to finish overall (until they stopped making cars/trucks anyway). Let's hope GM can eventually top that - Ford and Chrysler too.

Studebaker hung around for 112-114 years from start to finish overall (until they stopped making cars/trucks anyway). Let's hope GM can eventually top that - Ford and Chrysler too and Tesla or any other American companies that want to give it a try. I wish them all long life and the best.
Here, Here...100 years Happy Birthday!!! Back when rocks were Soft. I've been a Chevy guy since I learned how to drive. My Ford even has an SBC in it. A shocker for sure. My Favs....
I am gonna call bullshit- they should have reset the counter on July 10, 2009 when the US government had to bail them out. So roughly happy 2nd birthday! but yah, happy 100th to the second best.
Happy Birthday, to the maker of my hot rod project. Hopefully it won't take me until their 200th to finish it.
Happy birthday Chevy! The newest one I´ve owned was a 64 Impala, and I still have my 62 Impala and 56 Bel Air , they are gonna stay with me until I die. Thanks for manufacturing them for me!
Well your location let him in the door - Guess our US of A needs to reset that clock? You live in cold country lot of thing's come out of a wood pile - Stay Warm!
