Custom 40 ford

Saw this on Craigs . Not mine. Don't know anything about it. Kind of cool looking though. Looks like someone put a ton of work in it.
Shame it's just sitting outside. But at least its in a warm climate. Hope it gets saved..
Wish I had the scratch to buy it myself.

 

I'd like to see what it looks like in paint. Right now in the light primer, the peaked details seem to stick out too much...but I think period paint would make it flow?

Did the guy fuck his phone number up so a computer can't call him. A lot of craigs list ads don't have phone numbers. I've used craigs list in the past,and had all kinds of stupid calls. Not sure I'd use it again. The car looks cool though. $8000.00 doesn't seem to bad if it's decent in person. Dean

Looks like the exhaust are coming out right in front of the rear fenders in the 4th photo in the ad.

 

Saw that too. But also has cut outs in the rear.
