here is some progress on the 56 I posted on earlier. Got the driver's floor all replaced. I still have to rebuild a bit on one hat channel underneath but that will wait till it goes back on the rotisserie. Why lay on your back?? It is still not completely welded yet. Need to get it more solid before doing that.

the back side of a quarter panel that was all full of filler. Didn't even know it was this big!

I don't know when I'll be back out that way. Maybe this time next year. I'll try to make it an every other year thing. That paint in post #53 is killer.

One thing I noticed is the cleanliness of your shop. That speaks loudly of your attention to detail and overall pride in what you are doing. Very impressive.

    Thank you sir.

Now that makes me a very happy man. Not everyone notices that sort of thing. Thank you dearly for pointing that out. I appreciate bringing it to everyone's attention.

A bit more done to the 56 today. Got the floors finished on the top side. big milestone there. Thinkin that since the quarters are off, I might just return the body to the blaster to get those rusty spots that were hidden by the quarter panel, blasted again so they are all clean as well. No sense in half assin it...

Getting the 36 dodge finished up as far as he would like to go with it. He has gotten ahold of his dad's old high school car. A 33 plymouth 5 window. And wants to sell this as is so he can put the money into his 5 window instead. already has a baby red ram, 5 speed, 57 chevy rear axle ( his dad added that from the racing days ) and a lot of extra parts. So this has to go.

Thank you sir! Getting my ass kicked. Got 3 cars leaving at the same time and the " little stuff " eats up a hell of a lot of time!
