    Tarlo , Just to set the story right , The car was restored by Carl Olsen . What I did was all the paint work , including the flames and the silver leaf lettering along with the pinstriping. The ironic part of the story is that the car originally was owned by Billy Wilkerson , who lived on the street behind me when I was a kid !!

  23. My historical owners' informations shows that the
    Flames have been painted in the early 50's !
    Second owner was an auto body repair man from KY
    The man puchased the car, Painted the flames
    and customised the car somewhere between 1950-1955,
    Drove it up into the early 60's before sold it...!
