any 2 door hardtop, 2 door wagon or stepside pickup. 4 door hardtops and wagons a close 2nd. I love '65 Impala's but nicest I ever drove was '65 Pontiac big 2+2, 389, 4 bbl & 4 speed, it was a monster but absolutely beautiful to me at 16.

Everything that had fins in the mid to late fifties. Some of the most beautiful designs were from that era. Cars had style.....personality.....charisma.....class.....
I mean, who wouldn't want a 1959 Cadillac convertable in Seminole Red with an Artic White interior? Ahh...just too sweet...

60 Cadillac Coupe (got one and just love it - it's not the 'cartoon car' that the 59's are, but........)
59 Cadillac Eldo - coupe or convertible (yeah, cartoon fins, but ya gotta respect that too.)
    59 Buick Coupe (just because)
61 Cadillac Coupe (roofline, rocket inspired fins, etc, etc)
60 Impala Coupe or convertible (just a little more refined than the 59's)
59 Impala Coupe or convertible (lots of style for the masses)
    61 Impala Coupe or convertible
58 Buick Convertible (when too much chrome is never enough)
    55 Belair Coupe or convertible
    57 Belair Coupe or convertible
    63 Corvette Split Window
    58 - 60 Corvette Roadster
    Gee, this is fun.

I love most GM products from the 50's & early 60's, & have owned a lot of them. I currently own a '56 Nomad & a 58 Apache. But I really love '56 Chev sport sedans, I know they have 4 doors but I love the lines.

  18. 61-64 big Pontiac...

The best suspension and steering linkage set up, strongest rear end, light weight, full frame no X, one piece drive shaft, very easy to work on, wide engine choice with excellent after market parts availability and last but not least styling...

great car, and very rare, this rear wraparound window is not the same ones as those on the 1959-60 GM's and I'm not sure any other 1961 GM models used this same type of rear window with the "visor" over hang, enjoy it!

Easy for me, 1962 Chevy II. My dad bought one brand new in Portland, OR. Its the first car I actually remember (I was born in 66). He and mom drove everywhere in that car. There is even a story about me, at the age of 2, throwing the keyes out the window while driving down Pacific Coast Highway on our way back to Longbeach. Apparently you could remove the keys while the car was running. Dad had the car till about late 69 early 70, about the time we moved to Montana.
