  8. Boom Boom. that thing is sweet but would look totally killer with the running boards removed. In my humble opinion.

BOOM BOOM ,,nice job,,custom rims no doubt...Did you fab the running board extensions or were they stock? I really like how they "finish" the truck.
Now lets see a chopped K model.

Thanks Jazz1, The running boards are actually two different running boards cut then welded together so they extend back to the rear fenders. Looks better than the originals ,to me ,which stopped at the back of the cab. Wheels from "wheel vintique" ordered with custom offset. Would love to chop it one day.

That's awesome! Love the look of the running boards.

  14. if anything, extend the boards back to the rear fenders for a much better look.

I ran across one like this in a local junkyard a couple years ago, it used to be a tow truck of some kind. I was able to salvage almost all of those horizontal grill bars, a headlight bezel, and most of the air cleaner. Its been almost a year and a half since I last saw it, might still be there.

An update on mine----the 350 fit like it was made for the kb1, its a little squirly up to 45mph( thats when it hooks up in 2nd gear). The ford 9" posi is working great, eng runs like a top, the only thing that needs attention is the brakes. I'm gathering the parts to do a disc set up on the stock frount end so that will be taken care of. HPIM0953.jpg
