Mike tends to do a lot of sketching of his ideas.... then just builds it. I don't think he gives a lot of thought to dimensions in terms of measurement.

Also, my guess is he would be highly unlikely to mass produce any of his ideas - so you likely won't be able to buy a pair of those wishbones any time soon.

Mike Roberts has rare talent for sure.

  10. Then, you can follow that up with some info on the Cad-zilla looking creation sitting behind it.

I love the smoothness and "forged" or cast look to your parts and the "lugged" hairpins are beautiful. The contrast of the square body and the smooth parts is really a cool idea and design whether it was intended or not its awesome! I cant wait to see how this finishes up!!

  12. Here are some recent pic's from Mike showing some good progress. Mike's planning on bringing the truck over to the States and attending the Fathers Day Roadster Show.

Wow! That whole rear trans mount, driveshaft tunnel, etc is pretty cool.

    Keep the progress pics coming.

    outstanding work, respect

  24. Mike's work has left me awe inspired for years and I'm glad to know him.
A humble guy with skills to die for.
A bit ot maybe but I recall him showing me a pic of a 80's/90's Ferrari at a place he worked at many years ago. This thing had major damage to the rear and the original R/Rear quarter alone was going to cost the owner NZ$ 6/7,000 from Ferrari... well, Mike made one and it looked perfect and it came in at less than 1/2 the price.
He's an unsung hero, but I know that he's just thinking about the next compound curve. :)

Holy shit that guy does good work!!!

I wonder how he will seal the firewall around the bell housing. I'm guessing that the trans is going to remain exposed?

He'll probably sling his Ball Sweat at that big whole, because I'm sure it's magical stuff just like his Fab Skills!
