You could be right. That's why the wheels look like they do.Chevies had heavier 6 lug wheels.I'm looking at the pics and the headlights are pointy.I was thinking 33-34 ford wire wheels on an Model A.I'm leaning towards the chevrolet.
I don't think it's a Chevy Chevys had large adjustible hood lovers on the side of the hood. I'd say Ford
i see a third hinge, i see a flush cowl, i see a double belt body line below the window. generally i see a 30/31 tudor
Model A doors don't fit "flush", and the bottom of that door looks like it curves up toward the front. I do NOT know what it is, though. DD
I don't think that's a Model A. The aprons are tapered too much from front to back and that top hinge is pretty high up on the door. Also note the door handle location BELOW the body lines. Model A was IN the body line. I'm also thinking Chevy. What's Dikfer?
The hinge seems too high on the door top to be a Ford. It's hard to tell by the reveal too... if that guy would get out the way, I could tell by the back corner. Here's a 30'31 Tudor for reference:
Thanks guys. It looks to be a chevy based on the feedback and picture. The guy in the picture just hit 90 years old this past summer. He rattled off all the cars he had. The only one I remember though was his Kaiser. He said it was the worst car he ever had.
Hubcaps look to be chevy and everything else falls into place based on this picture. I think the lower part of the bumper is in a shadow in your picture. Tapered running boards, wheels and caps look the same, door handles, hinges, etc. This particular one is a 1931 Chevy. 1932 had a different hood. 1929's had solid wheels. So I would say a 30/31 Chevy. Haha! Classic!
