The sock mustang tanks only have center fill as far as I know. I guess you could get a new tank and move the filler. I don't see a big issues running it through the frame,if ya but support though the hole ie a sleeve. If you mount it like mine though the top of the tank is all ready above the frame rails.

    Thanks.

Seats and console are out of a 65mustang. The seats are mounted on custom brackets that are as low as possible. The factory ones had different councils and where called rangers. I think they used mustang seats and galaxy cc

  3. Nice clean job on the wiring.

I love your wiring...Maybe I'm a geek but I love running wires! I have found in the past that it doesn't always pay to have your wires all neatly bound! I think its an art to be able to disassemble the bundle to remove or add 1 wire to fix an issue! This truck is beautiful keep up the good work!

i was able to spend about a 1000 miles in this little truck.... DAMN !!!! yes it looks good yes its gonna look great when done.. but this SOB runs and handles....
you would think a short wheel base truck would buck and bounce around...NOPE
you would also think it would drift and sway on turns ...NOPE
even without side glass i was able to take a few short naps...we passed rashy and flatblack at over 60 on, on and offramps...more than a few times...it took corners like it was on rails...my moms new mustang wont come close to it on corners...
    the trucks a little badass.....

im pretty excited about this damn thing now, it really impressed me this weekend, rides so well and handles awesome, like bp says down here

    good times for sure!
    the truck even impressed me!
not bad for a 40 or so day build, many more long days and nights to finish it though.

thanks to all for the compliments fellas!

Another idea for a gas tank would be to use either a fullsize bronco or the little bronco II gas tank. They fit between the rails and have a side filler. Depending on the year, you can get them with or without provisions for electric fuel pump.

Truck looks good. I'm about to start on my '66 with the same overall goals.

Yea I'd say so. I wish it had a little more travel built into it,but the handling is awesome,I think alott of it is in the way the rear is set up,it acts like a giant sway bar

    Thank you
