O/T - Passed the Bar today, 57JoeFoMoPar, Esq.

Hey guys, I know this is off topic, so if the mods want to delete it, that's cool.

The results for the Pennsylvania bar exam came out today and I passed. I've been virtually non-existent on here for the past several months, and that's what I've been up to. It's really the culmination of all my time and hard work, especially in the past 4 years of law school. All summer I sacrificed working on projects, missing shows and seeing family to study, and to finally get the results.... it's just the most amazing feeling. You guys know what it's like to work on a huge build, do a chassis up restoration, and to finally stand back and look at the completed work. I'm feeling the same way right now, not to mention a huge relief since finding gainful employment will be much easier as an admitted attorney.

Just thought I'd share with my HAMB family. Now I'm going out with my girl (who also passed the PA bar) to have some drinks and celebrate!

OK! When St. Patrick drove the all the snakes out of Ireland, where did they go? To America and became lawyers! Now, seriously you are to commended for you achievement. My godfather, father and brother are attorneys I heard them all. Are you joining a firm?

Yes, this was my first attempt and will thankfully be my last at Pennsylvania. I'm still waiting on the results for new jersey, which come out in November, but the pa admission is promising. I've been considering taking Delaware next July. This exam sucks and I really don't want to do it again!

 

I don't know that I have ever passed a bar, maybe when I didn't see it.

Seriously though Joe, CONGRATS TO YOU. That is a long row to hoe and the satisfaction of making it happen must be huge.

Why would you be proud of passing a perfectly good bar? Stop in....quaff a couple, introduce yourself around - heck, you could meet an attorney.
