1935 1936 Ford coupes...NON CUSTOMS!

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by nitrohonkey, Oct 5, 2011.

  1. I would like to see some 35 and 36 fords that are not tail dragging but possibly drag racing! Where are the hotrods?

Thanks man!!! I appreciate that very much. Last night I got to hear the starter bump over. It's all wired and ready to be fired this weekend. Just need to schedule an exhaust appointment. Close man....real close.

That was right after the Oakland Roadster Show and SF show in Jan 60.
just behind the Headlight, you can see the corner of the Chrysler valve cover.

  12. This is my '36 coupe I built in the early 80s and sold it in '97 and wish that I would have kept it.

Oh dear god TomWar those are so cool!!! That engine is beautiful in there and one of my favorite things is the dual single master cylinders on the firewall. That's one of those things people are afraid to do because they don't want to clutter up the firewall. I love it because you guys all did it!!! Oh and the rear nerf bars......rad!!!

Pics like that are really helpful when I sought out to build my '35. I tried my hardest to stay within 1956-1960 with my car with the exception of the 16" wide five wheels which would have been ditched for 15's for sure. I'm just a sucker for 16" wheels. Thanks so much for sharing those.....

I guess you could call it a NON-CUSTOM but we are guilty of running a filled roof on it if that matters much.
