Great stuff this week as usual. Who would I contact about doing a rendering for a customer car that is going to SEMA?

  2. Slide, nice design. I love how you used the tilted oval and the placement of everything. Nice job!

  5. Thanks Ken.

Thanks all you crazed artists who've contributed to the best damn art show on the net!

Thanks Ryan, for hosting the best damn art show on the net!

  6. That pretty much says it all! This place rocks!:D

  7. Really good for quickies.
You know, I sometimes go out with sketchbook, but I can't get use to people standing behind me and looking. I understand people are curious, I am too.
So, I went to parks with a sketchbook and found places to sketch without people coming up to look. I just sketch anything from ducks to trees and park benches. One time a guy with his dog saw me sketching and yelled "I hope your not sketching my dog taking a crap!"

100% digitally sketched and painted in ArtRage Studio Pro ver 3.5 with my Wacom Intous tablet. Slight color adjustment was done in Photoshop Elements ver 10...

LOL! Thanks. I've been sketching like you for several years, up in the mountains, at parks, in parking lots while in my car, etc., lots of trees. LOL I've been able to find discreet places to sketch from at the car shows and people usually pay me no mind. I did meet another artist at one though, one artist will notice another sketching of course. lol

Ya, I'm glad it didn't get "un-stickied" as soon as Friday was over like usual.

Since old 50's style hover cars are the thing this week ... here is my 3d 59 caddy version ... inspired by "Jetsons" tech

Great to see another 3d person posting here too...

I used to have a note tab at the top of my sketchbook that read in big lettering, "Nothing Great Was Ever Created With Someone Looking Over My Shoulder". But I found that most of those looking over my shoulder obviously couldn't read English 'cause it didn't ever seem to make much difference. I admire those artists who sketch/paint in public and can carry on a conversation with strangers while doing their art.
