I ran this by Ryan and he said if the boats were cool, he was OK with the OT subject.
Last weekend the Antique & Classic Boat Society held a show at the Abbey Resort in Fontana, WI on Lake Geneva. Unfortunately shortly after I got there it started raining and a lot of the owners were pulling their boats out or covering them up, but I managed to get a few photos in.

There were also some great looking restored outboard motors on display.

That round boat is nuts - never seen anything like that!
There was a boat show at Buckeye Lake back in August, here's few pics.

Spied this for sale up the road for $1300. Seemed like a deal but I can't handle any more projects right now.

i love old wood boats, they are works of arts just like our hot rods. couple of them boats you could put them on a chassis and you be looking damn good even out of the water. heh. im probably gonna build my own body from a cowl of unknown year ( not found one yet ) and been looking at these old wood boats for ideas of what woods to use for the body.. ( i relay like red ceder and white ceder accent strips.. think chitty chitty bang bang body for wood combo.. looks damn good i think )rock on.
    chris.

that round boat is a trip, never seen one either.. would be fun to take it for a spin on the local lake.. im sure all the women would swoon for a ride? heh.

I happened to be in Tahoe when the Concours D Elegance boat show was happening this summer. INSANE!!!! So inspiring. The craftsmanship was mind blowing.

The card on the round boat stated it was a 1966 Cir Craft, 7 foot length, 40 horse Mercury. Looks like it would be a wild ride to me.
