Practicing sculpting... going to make a shift knob and cast it resin one of these days. This was just for fun. I painted it metal flake copper and painted the teeth white. Hard to see the details in the pic though. Hopefully its not off topic, if it is feel free to delete.

I'm really digging vintage trailers lately. These were a couple of commissioned pieces I did for the owner who's bringing them to the Long Beach Motorama this weekend and wants my framed scratchboard art hanging inside. The night scene features a 1946 United Palace and the beach scene is a 1950 model of the same make.

Hoping the artists that are on here will wanna contribute to the Vintage Torque Fest Art Show/Auction

We had Jimmy Flintstone make some of the Rat Fink tins that he sells - with NO graphix on them....so basically they are JUST the metal with the white coating.
This is a primed and ready to roll 2 foot embossed Rat Fink....you can go with acrylic, enamel, air brush, flake, one shot.....whatever.
So we are hoping that the artists around the world will wanna join in one of the cooler art exhibitions in Iowa.
I hope to have 50-60 of these things complete and ready for the art auction at Torque Fest.

We have an auction company and do a live auction at the show....
you can see a bit of it in the Vintage Torque Fest clip....
    http://youtu.be/J7KeYlk2zqc
if you wait til about 1 minute - you will see some of the items that we auctioned off last year.
This was an exciting part of the show and those that participated were very happy with it.
Not all pieces will be auctioned off live - others will be silent auction at the show...while others will be held onto for a while ...then sold online for the world. Much like the Big Toe cross that was auctioned off a week ago.

The art show and sale of Rat Finks goes directly to the Hannah Wells Medical Trust. This pays for insurance, co-pays, medicine, echo cardiagrams, doctor visits, x-rays, etc. With health insurance at $1600 a month....we are struggling to pay all the other bills. We have no choice, we have to keep the insurance. If not - the future surgeries will not be covered...then we are REALLY out of luck. Anyway...
Hope we can get some of the talent that is here on the board to help out.

Here are some other images of the Rat FInk and one of the "normal" ones that are available for purchase from Jimmy Flintstone.[IMG]
