Great work but loose the pics of the dodge... Oh and you may get some interesting comments about the thread title!
This would make a killer "How to" thread. You should post some step by step pictures. seriously nice work.
I agree nice work until I got to the photo's of the dodge. What's that about ? your first photo's were pretty BAD ASS great job
Those first three pictures are awesome!! I hope to get that done to a future car.. once i get my hands on a pre-war coupe.. My great grandfather did wood graining as an occupation at the turn of the century.
Very, very nice too bad your on the other coast..you could have done mine. but its now back together.
Thanks for the reply guys I knew I would get shit for the dodge looks better in person just wanted to show a different pattern. Yeah 1951 streamliner thanks for reply that's cool your great grandfather did woodgrain I'm. Doing it the same way they did it back them. Historynw it is to bad I would have loved to woodgrain your car. Blind elwood the first three pics are a walnut pattern
Thanks guys Chassisresearch kid I've never been to michigan so you can send me your parts unless your dash is welded in it would be kid of hard to send your car ups haha
Thanks chief012 maybe on another project just finishing up a 48 chevy dash I will post pics of that when its done I'm trying to do more woodgraining after work and on weekends I do paint and body as side work but really like doing woodgrain not to many people do it
Really outstanding work. I love this stuff and even the newer car gained some soul with the work on it. It don't mean jack to post a new car with an example of your skills, some folks get the shorts up the butt a little to quick. I love seeing talent like this and you should be off to a busy life doing this excellent treatment for folks. Thanx bro! ~sololobo~
No worries bigmando - I have a '49 Caddy dash that would look great with feature woodgrain sections with the rest black and the chrome trim,...drool. Another fading art/skill
Hate to be a spoiler, but that's not wood. Hydrographic dip: http://www.hydro-dip.com/all_patterns.htm Although it's very cool looking
